Derbyshire County FA have selected their top three nominations to submit to The Football Association for consideration at their national Groundsman of The Year Awards 2010/2011.

They are Whaley Bridge Athletic FC, Mickleover Royal British Legion FC & South Normanton Athletic FC.

Well deserved congratulations go to Bob from all at the Club for all the great work he does for WBAFC; let's hope he gets recognition at national level and we look forwqard to hearing of that decision in due course.

From the whole of the club best wishes and a speedy recovery to Antonia White who unfortunately ended another all action (girl of the match ), display for Whaley's under 13's girls on Saturday (5th March) morning with an ambulance ride to hospital with a badly broken leg (both Fibia and Tibia) which will put to an end an excellent season.

Toni had an operation on Sunday including two pins and will hopefully come out of Chesterfield hospital on Saturday (12th March).

She will be missed on the pitch but hopeful of seeing her on the sidelines soon.
