A dramatic equaliser 2 minutes into stoppage by Chloe Hopley time gave Whaley Bridge U15's girls the point they needed to win the League to add to both cups in an unprecedented season which saw the team reamin unbeaten across all their competitive matches.

Tom Wildgoose's opener was cancelled out by a late equaliser in tough away fixture in testing conditions.

Having won their opening two games handsomely, 6-0 away to Denton Reserves and 5-2 at home against Eagle Sports Reserves and with Tom Scorer in scintillating gaol scoring form, the visitors were made to work hard for a point against an organised Gamesley side.

Whaley travel to Pilkington on Saturday in the hope of maintaining their unbeaten start to the season.

The Under 15 Girls completed the Derbyshire Cup double winning the League Cup for the third successive year on Monday night to add to the Challenge Cup.

In a very tight match Whaley came back from 1-0 down to eventually run out 5-1 winners with 4 goals from Beth Read and one from Elesha Arnfield.
